Lecturer Profile
Yosepin Sri Ningsih studied S1 majoring in Textile Crafts at ITB in 2004 and continued on to a master's program majoring in Fashion Design at ITB in 2011. Since the undergraduate program, she has been interested in efforts to revitalize the cultural in Indonesia, especially in the fashion and textile fields. This is realized through research and community service, including the transfer of the longest Epos ride in the world entitled I La Galigo (Sulawesi) on textile media, sustainable fashion design as a form of visual revitalization typical of Dayak Basap (East Kalimantan) and sustainable fashion design by utilizing the potential of weaving from eastern Indonesia. Since 2015 she has been active as a judge for competitions in the arts (FLS2N) and entrepreneurship (FIKSI) held by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. Lecturers are also active in collaborating with local governments, non-profit foundations (NGOs) and associations (APPMI Younggen and Indonesia Trend Forecasting).
